Sumo Cyco have released two official albums and working on a third (as of July 2019) as well as a live sessions and two acoustic albums. They are an excellent upcoming Canadian rock/metal band who always manage to steal the show. Having formed in 2011, they have managed to get themselves an ever-growing fan base and tours with some big name bands, like Fozzy, Alien Ant Farm and CKY! In June 2019 they secured a spot at the download Festival UK.

Surprisingly, they are still independent – relying on platforms like Patreon to fund their albums. However, they are proof that you don’t need a label to become ‘big’! Do check them out – you certainly won’t be disappointed!

As of March 2020 Sumo Cyco have signed with Austrian label Napalm Records – Joining groups such as Alestorm, Skindred, Beyond The Black, to name a few.

Securing a record deal is great news and fans can expect some big things from Sumo Cyco in the future.
